The Flower Fields

This piece was created for a calendar project inspired by my hometown, San Diego. Each illustration corresponds to popular activities that locals like to do in that specific month. For example, this illustration was for the month of April. During this time of year it is common for lots of residents to flock to the flower fields in Carlsbad and see all of the colors in full bloom.

I have a lot of memories of going here as a child so it was fun trying to create something that captures that feeling.
